MOOMBAKI has garnered a strong reputation for producing this highly-acclaimed varietal Malbec from the pure gravelly soils of their north-facing Denmark vineyard. The hand picked fruit was matured in premium French oak barriques.
A complex, intense palate of mulberry and plum with soft, velvety tannins combine to create this exceptional wine.

Tasting notes

Appearance

A deep inky purple.

Aroma

Lifted perfumed nose of bright cherries and plum are complemented by aromatic overtones of violets and spice, underpinned by toasty vanillin French oak.

Palate

A vibrant, intense palate of mulberry and damson supported by a savoury earthy mid palate of liquorice and velvety tannins leading to a lingering bright finish of fine grained spicy french oak and raspberry acidity.

Cellaring

Cellar for the next 10 – 15 years and be rewarded.
