Denmark Cabernet Sauvignon

Hand-picked from the gravelly soils of our north-facing vineyard, the 2021 vintage is a blend of 85% Cab Sauv, 10% Cab Franc, 5% Malbec. The dry grown, low yielding vines are cane pruned and carefully managed throughout the season, producing exceptional parcels of delicious fruit. Matured for 10 months in premium French oak barriques under the careful guidance of winemakers Liam Carmody and Guy Lyons.
Enjoy now or cellar for up to 15 years and be rewarded.

Appearance

A deep crimson with bright purpley-red hues.

Aroma

Ripe blackcurrant, spices and mint chocolate are complemented by classic cool climate tobacco leaf notes and toasty vanillin French oak.

Palate

A vibrant palate with hints of cool-climate cassis, bright red berries and dark fruits, finishing with a delicious earthy, spice backbone.

Cellaring

This elegant wine was matured for 10 months in French oak and has the balance and structure to improve with careful cellaring over the next 10 years.
