02 Apr What’s on in Denmark during Easter? Brave New Works #16
Easter is one of the busiest times of the year in Denmark.
Loads of hip and happening people descend on our little town to be surprised when our power supplies don’t quite stand up to the demand, and anarchy reigns (not really!) – but do make sure you bring lots of cash – just in case! Actually this year we are much better prepared (just don’t use the clothes dryer).
One of the big events of the year is the Brave New Works Festival, which has been a constant over the previous 16 Easter weekends. What started out as a small group of arty people showing off their new stuff, has turned into an outstanding performing and visual arts weekend. Denmark is a bit of a mecca for talented artists and it’s fabulous to see what projects they get off the ground. Come and join in – it’s well worth it!
Plus, one little surprise is that MOOMBAKI will be available at the Festival Club on Friday and Saturday evening so come and say hello – it’s on at the CWA hall – and is sure to be entertaining! Check out the rest of the schedule at Brave New Works Festival.
