19 Aug Invited entry for Tri Nations Wine Challenge
MOOMBAKI has been selected to represent Australia in the most prestigious and invite only wine event, the Tri Nations’ Wine Challenge, whereby judges James Halliday, Bob Campbell and Michael Fridjhon each select the finest 7 wines for each of 12 classes to represent their respective countries; Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa.
This year the judging will take place in Sydney in October with results released early November. Chairman Robert Joseph (esteemed London based writer and show judge) completes the circle and comments:
I have chaired many competitions in many countries. None has ever combined the Tri Nations’ quality of wines and judgement.
Just getting selected for this event is worth celebrating.
The MOOMBAKI 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Malbec has been selected for the Bordeaux Blends category.
