11 Feb Summer at MOOMBAKI
We’ve had a pretty good summer – made it through the silly season, juggling the cellar door, the kids school holidays, vineyard work, and when we finally put up our heads for a breath of air, it was time for the kids to go back to school.
But we did manage to fit in trips to the beach, bombies off the jetty (the one featured on the Shiraz and Cab labels), and getting stuck into the veggie garden (it’s amazing what kids will eat when they grow it themselves!). Coupled with casual get-togethers involving friends, yummy food and wine – 6 weeks just whizzed by.
We’ve met some great new people through the cellar door, and caught up with many regulars. And we wish all of you the best for 2009.
