Great Southern Malbec
We are very excited to release our first varietal Malbec, sourced entirely from the MOOMBAKI vineyard. The hand picked fruit was matured for 20 months in fine grained French oak barriques and bottled using minimal filtration. A complex, intense palate of mulberry and plum with soft, velvety tannins combine to create this exceptional wine. ONLY 840 Hand-Numbered Bottles Produced!

Appearance
A deep inky purple.
Aroma
Ripe rich aromas of dark cherry and blackcurrant are complemented by aromatic overtones of violets and spice underpinned by toasty vanillin French oak
Palate
A complex, intense palate of mulberry and plum supported by a mid palate of velvety tannins and fine grained spicy French oak leading to a lingering bright raspberry acidity on the finish
Cellaring
Cellar for the next 10 – 15 years and be rewarded.

Bright crimson-purple, it is strongly varietal, with luscious blood plum and mulberry fruit sustained by precise tannins and cedary oak.
