Ripe blackcurrant, spices and mint chocolate are complemented by classic cool climate tobacco leaf notes and toasty vanillin French oak.
A complex, intense palate of blackcurrant, mint with hints of liquorice. A mid-palate of velvety tannins and fine grained spicy French oak lead to a lingering raspberry and mocha finish.
This wine has the balance and structure to improve with careful cellaring over the next 15 years.
