2006 Merlot
Tasting Notes | Awards | Reviews
Produced from a select parcel of premium Frankland fruit, this wine has a rich fruitcake nose of plums and allspice
that is complemented by toasty vanillin French oak. It exhibits an earthy mid palate and is balanced by a textured finish of fine tannins and mocha. Minimal filtration used – some sediment may remain. Cellar up to 10 years.

Ray Jordan’s Guide to Wine 2008
86/100 Silky smooth and delightfully supple medium-bodied Merlot. Minty red berry and light plum aromas are appealing and the slightly fruit cake richness and gentle vanillin oak very good.
