Art, Wood and Local Produce
As well as our exciting range of wines, the Cellar Door also showcases the contemporary art of artist Melissa Boughey, inspired by the many colours and forms of the region.
The inspirational sculptural wood work of Tony Docherty can also be viewed, from simple turned spoons and boards to large organic-shaped bowls and objects.
Although the cellar door isn’t quite large enough to exhibit a table made by David Britten, you may be lucky enough to see a work in progress in the nearby shed. Tables are exquisite, one-off pieces and feature unique recycled timber from the Great Southern. You may decide to commission Dave to make one to suit your home.
